LARGO, FLORIDA- A teenager passed away in Florida after shooting himself in the head with a .38 caliber handgun during a game of ‘Russian Roulette’ he was playing with three of his friends.
Thorin Montgomery, 17, took the first turn in this deadly game that also involved three other teenagers aged 16,18 and 19.
The four teens were near the victims home when the tragedy happened.
Russian Roulette is a game of chance in which a player places a live round in a revolver, spins the cylinder, places the muzzle against his or her head and pulls the trigger. The game, which originated in Russia, kills about 10 people per year and has been featured in several films.
Local authorities are investigating the source of the gun.
