Amsterdem, NL - ob Bolland, composer and producer of international hits In the Army Now for Status Quo and Rock Me Amadeus for Falco, was arrested and released by police on Thursday evening.
Bolland was arrested at the offices of music royalty organisation Buma/Stemra. Staff called the police when he became agitated and aggressive, according to press reports.

The composer was in the building to look for evidence in his long-running battle with music producer Willem van Kooten who, he says, owes him money for his hit records.

He was charged with breaking and entering and released. He is now considering suing the police for what he says was a heavy-handed arrest.
